For the past year I’ve been working with the Community of Practice team at the Natural History Museum, on a series of illustrated summaries of their Fixing our Broken Planet Webinar Series.

Each webinar focuses on a different aspect of the climate crisis, aligning with the Museums Strategic plan towards 2031. In 2021 NHM declared a planetary emergency, and after the success of their temporary gallery ‘Our Broken Planet’ in 2021 they announced the establishment of a brand new gallery space.

This new space is dedicated too the wonderful science that is being undertaken to solver the climate crisis, and showcases a number of incredible projects the museum is delivering.

The community of practice are a wider UK network of museums and practitioners who have come together to share their knowledge.
