London Museum’s Toolkit

London Museum asked me to participate in a number of staff and community engagement sessions to help develop a new toolkit for working with local communities on a space within the gallery designed by Londoners and for Londoners.

I listened in on several of their sessions and created a series of live illustrations to contribute to their kit. We then adapted some other the illustrations further to suit the steps within the document.

“It was a real pleasure to work with Rae on the creation of our Co-Production toolkit, both in its early development through live illustration during staff workshops and in its final production as a digital and print document.

Rae also ran a public consultation session at one of our annual community celebrations with live illustrations. Rae created beautiful illustrations for us across all of these projects, but what we appreciated most about working with Rae was her commitment to collaboration and working together as part of a team working on the project. She was responsive to the many drafts and iterations of the blueprint that we worked through and we are really happy with the final result. Thank you so much Rae.”

"Working with Rae is a great experience. Rae understood the brief and offered some great insights into how it could be elevated to deliver something really powerful.  Rae is a talented artist and has the ability to take complicated concepts and visualise them in a form that is attractive and accessible."
